An Air Canada Express plane was involved in a serious accident at New York's LaGuardia Airport after colliding with a fire truck during landing. The incident occurred around 23:40, leading to an immediate emergency response and the suspension of all airport operations. The aircraft, a Bombardier CRJ-900 operated by Jazz Aviation, was on a flight from Montreal to New York with 72 passengers and four crew members on board. The collision was fatal for the pilot and co-pilot due to the severe impact on the aircraft's cockpit, which was badly damaged.
